In our Fame edition we look at all types of fame: pre- and post- the Warholian 15 minutes window. We look at old- and new-school Hollywood glamour, as well as Fame hyped by Instagram, and trashed by Twitter. We use pictures and words to show the appeal of reality as a masquerade. Manufactured, photoshopped images whose links with the truth are as tenuous as an alcoholic whisper. Fame is ultimately selfish. It\u2019s a self-obsessed act of self-promotion facilitated by those who manipulate, and supported by fans who demand love and blood in equal measures. And there\u2019s always a tipping-point. Handle fame well, and your image will smile down whether you\u2019re dead or alive.
